Small, Insignificant Post

Few things in this world are as loathed by me as typing on laptop keyboards.

The lovely [info]ahmes, in his eternal kindness, lets me use his laptop to update and do my mail and whatnot when I go and visit. But I hate the keyboard. Oh, I do. It is a vehicle of pain and suffering. Suffering! *does the hand*

I need a new computer.

i cant type on non-laptop keyboards as well anymore.

so do you want to borrow the iMac for a while?
might require coming down the coast for a visit but then i can cook you dinner or something.

Have the same problem, then I found the keyboard in the above link. It is small, compact, and hasn't got any extra buttons. Just like my old laptop keyboard.

I'm pretty sure you can plug a normal keyboard into that thing, can't you?

Yes, but that would require effort. And I don't want to leave The Man with too much stuff to unplug when he takes it back to uni with him.

*shock, horror*
i can't type that well, but i know i can't use a 'normal' mouse. with the laptop i can at least change hands on the touch pad whenever necessary without trying to swap over with the mouse.
[ i then 'blame' all the typos on the dyslexic keyboard!]
